Week 1: Reflection
A few weeks ago, I went hiking at Harold Parker State Forest with a good friend of mine. As we walked through the forest, we were surrounded by beautiful trees and crystal-clear ponds and lakes. Of all the natural beauty we came across, what I noticed most was how reflective the bodies of water were. You could see every single detail in the water; a perfect mirror. I’ve never seen anything like it. Besides a few bikers, we were the only people on the trail. It was so peaceful and serene, which created the perfect atmosphere to get lost in thought and self-reflection. This picture was one of my favorites from the day. Which is real and which is the reflection? I’ll let you decide.
I’ve been thinking of doing a photo blog for some time now, so what better to start one than the start of a new year? I will be picking a word each week and posting a corresponding picture; the words will vary, from adjectives to objects to emotions. I only hope you can learn a little bit more about myself through my pictures. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy!
